Updates

Updates as of January 2025

I have updated policies and prices for 2025 to reflect the struggles I faced in 2024. Prices and policy updates will not affect my current regulars, but may affect individuals outside of a regular schedule or new clients.

I will now be charging a $30 Compacted Coat fee to individuals with cats who have excessive fur that needs to be shed out, beyond the normal amount for maintenance. This is to compensate for the additional work required as well as time spent at the appointment. Not all new clients will necessarily be subject to this, it depends on the condition of their cat’s coat. This fee also applies to individuals who have exceptionally greasy/compacted cats that are getting shaved due to the immediate and severe damage to my blades. This does not apply to clients on an arranged schedule.

I have adjusted my grooming schedule and days to better accommodate individuals who are needing to reschedule their appointment. Reschedules are considered moving your appointment within a time span of 14 days. Anything after 14 days is considered a cancellation.

Frequent cancellations may result in termination of your spot on my route and benefits as a regular. This is not meant to be punitive but to have scheduling run smoother and offer availability to those in need. If you find yourself stressing about committing to specific days, it may be in your best interest to schedule as needed rather than the whole year, although you do run the risk of not having a guaranteed spot in the seasons I am booked fully.

Thank you for your continued love and support, Mercedes.

My morning started out with one of my favorite cats. 🥰 @daersay Reserve your spot at www.meow-mobile.com Shorthair 👑 Don’t Care Gandalf getting a bribe before a bath lol Not all cats love treats and only some of them benefit for a little break between undesirable events. In this case, he doesn’t mind the shaving but is pretty sure he’s getting water boarded. But you see those white specs? Not glitter. 😅 Join us this Friday at @ryanspetsupplies in Chandler, Arizona. We will sit down licensed psychologist and mental health advocate Dr. Jennifer Mandigo, for an honest conversation about anger, stress, emotional regulation, and the tools every grooming professional needs to recognize frustration, respond with intention, and protect both themselves and the animals in their care. Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy is always dirty. 🙌🏽☠️ I knew this going in, because dilute coats are always the hardest to manage. But I told my friends if I’m going to be educating, I need a good glow up coat. A flex. 😂 Did I anticipate him being an absolute dirty pig boi on top is it!? No lol. No I did not. lol It’s toxic how much I love her and how much she hates me 😂😂 She is as angry as she looks 😂😂 but I love her. Lucy my love 😍
