The Lion Cut

This cat grooming service is intended for all coat lengths. It includes the Lion Cut as well as variations, degreasing bath, calming massage, blow dry, brush out, kitty facial, nail trim, ears and eyes cleaned. Rate includes travel within route, see booking if additional travel fee is required.

Description: fur is shaved and removed from the body of the cat, leaving the head, legs, and a tuft at the tail. Variations include the proportions of the hair left on the torso and tail.

The Comb Cut

This cat grooming service is intended for long coat lengths. It includes a Comb Cut as well as variations, degreasing bath, calming massage, blow dry, brush out, kitty facial, nail trim, ears and eyes cleaned. Rate includes travel within route, see booking if additional travel fee is required.

Description: fur is shaved down to desired length with guards that determine how much hair remains. Also known as the teddy bear cut, plush cut, or kitten cut. Can only be completed on a mat-free, fully de-shed clean coat.

Mat Removal/ Pelted Shave

This service is intended for the extremely matted or pelted cat. The first priority of this service is to remove all matting and pelting. After the matting/pelting has been addressed, full services will be introduced depending on the cat’s physiological and neurological tolerance.

Costs vary depending on the type, amount, severity, and location of pelting. A physical assessment is required before giving an exact cost, rates can vary anywhere between $200 to $300, up to $450 if a second session is needed. If your cat is matted, please be sure to let me know. Do not attempt to remove mats prior to our appointment as it requires a professional educated in cat skin and handling. Never take scissors to a cat.

Additional Services

Cat nails grow in sheaths and require human intervention to keep short. Scratching posts do not shorten nails, they sharpen them. Regular maintenance is considered every 4 to 6 weeks. It can take up to 12 weeks for shaved hair to fully grow back.

• Assessment / Just A Nail Trim – $60 In route only, or in service areas. $20 each additional cat.
• Nail Caps + Application – $25 Nail claw caps in color of your choice, includes nail trim, $50 for all nails.
